New Window (hotkey N)

Pop-up a new Document View window; the initial document will be your home document.

Clone Window (hotkey C)

Create a new Document View window with initial document same as the document in the current window.

Open URL... (hotkey O)

Pop up a dialog box allowing you to manually enter any Uniform Resource Locator (URL) that you wish to access.

Open Local... (hotkey L)

Pop up a dialog box allowing you to select a local file you wish to access. The localhost scheme will automatically be inserted in the file's Uniform Resource Locator (URL).

Reload Current (hotkey R)

Retrieve the current document over the network again and redisplay it, causing any changes to the document that may have occurred to become visible. Cached images will not be re-retrieved unless the reloadReloadsImages resource is true.

Reload Images

Reloads and redisplays the current document including any inlined images.

Refresh Current (hotkey lowercase f)

Redisplay the current document (to cause image colors to be restored, etc.) without requiring a network transfer.

Find In Current... (formerly Search) (hotkey I)

Pop up a dialog box allowing you to search for words inside the current document. For more information, see here.

View Source... (hotkey V)

Pop up a dialog box showing you the current document's Uniform Resource Locator and HTML source text.

Edit Source... (hotkey E)

Open the source text in an editor window. When the editor is exited, the edited source will be reloaded into the Mosaic window.

Save As... (hotkey S)

Pop up a dialog box allowing you to save the current document to a local file in any of several formats (the valid choices are plaintext, pretty-formatted text, raw HTML, and PostScript).

Print... (hotkey P)

Pop up a dialog box allowing you to print the current document via the print command of your choice in any of several formats. (see Save As). Note: The print command you specify should accept a single argument -- the name of a file to print.

Mail To... (hotkey M)

Pop up a dialog box allowing you to mail the current document to a user on the network in any of several formats (see Save As).

Save Preferences

Saves Mosaic's current settings in the file MOSAIC.PREFERENCES.

Close Window (hotkey W)

Close only the current Document View window. If the current window is the only window currently open, the entire application will be shut down when the window is closed.

Exit Program... (hotkey x)

Close all windows and exit VMS Mosaic. A confirmation dialog box will be popped up to allow you to cancel this action, if necessary.
